Jardin del Mar is a one-of-a-kind family estate, transformed into seven private casitas. Upon your first steps through the grand antique doors, you will find yourself engulfed by the charm of our traditional Mexican hacienda. The secluded half-acre property is filled with local art, colorful crafts, and antiques. Villas Jardin del Mar has been carefully appointed with treasures collected throughout Mexico.The name Jardin del Mar translates as "Garden by the Sea," and the name truly fits the ambience.

Jardin del Mar can accommodate up to twenty-two guests at a time, in 7 separate Casitas. Each Casita can accommodate between 2-4 guests, each with it's own charm and unique layout.

Located on the north shore of the Banderas Bay, and away from the crowds and mega-resorts of Puerto Vallarta, this little piece of paradise is nestled between two Mexican fishing villages, Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Both Bucerias and La Cruz offer a myriad of restaurants, bars, street vendors, and markets filled with local arts and crafts. Each are only a five-minute drive away, and taxis are affordable and readily available. Puerto Vallarta is still close enough for a day of shopping or an evening out on the town - to enjoy its restaurants and nightlife.

Villas Jardin del Mar’s design aesthetic relies heavily on that of traditional Mexican homes. As such, along with artwork typically found throughout the country, decorative pots, colorful fabrics, or mosaics, guests will also encounter examples of Catholic iconography, such as bultos, retablos, or santos. That being said, let our guests be advised that these items are prevalent in historic homes, as both devotional and design elements. While these icons hold importance to us, we in no way wish to impose our beliefs on our guests - We are simply sharing our culture.

We want all of our guests to feel a warm Mexican abrazo, and know that we welcome everyone. We welcome those of all beliefs and are proud LGBTQ+ allies.
